We has set a vision of "contributing to the realization of a sustainable society in terms of the environment, safety, and security as a 100-year-old company" as the ideal state toward 2050. Under this vision, we will position our efforts for sustainability as the important business challenge, run a sustainability-oriented business based on the sustainability basic policy, solve social issues through our business activities, and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

And under our medium-term management plan, ICHIGAN 2024, we will provide value in terms of environment, safety, and security by focusing efforts on the five areas of Healthcare, Production Facilities, Nextgeneration Mobility, Industrial Cooling & Heating and Environment Management Systems (EMS), and Building Management and Facilities. In our new businesses, such as total package IT solutions for healthcare institutions, smart agriculture, and Remces, all the value we provide is linked to this vision. In other words, we believe that solving social issues related to the environment, safety, and security is an opportunity to grow by leveraging our technological prowess and expertise.

Also, in order to communicate this kind of approach to our stakeholders, as well as implementation structure, progress, and other matters, in an easy-to-understand way, in each of our focus areas we have established and are pursuing targets for priority issues selected from an ESG perspective both in regard to the value provided, SDGs-related material issues, and the response to each of these, as well as initiatives for mitigating risk.
